HOW TO CHECK OUT MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE LIBRARY / FALL 2020

FALL QUARTER LIBRARY PICKUP

The Library offers pickup services on a limited basis from 10am-2pm, Monday through Thursday during fall quarter.  This service is available by reservation only, and we request at least a 24-hour notice.  

  • No requests will be processed between 2pm Friday and 8am on Monday.
  • All items will be due on December 17, 2020, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Note that purchased textbooks are not part of the curbside program. Students will need to contact the Campus Store for more information about purchasing textbooks and supplies (360.752.8342).

How To Request and Pickup Equipment or Library Materials

  • Check your class syllabus and messages from your instructors to find out if there’s anything you need to pick up from the Library.
  • Using your BTC email account, email the Library at library@btc.edu to request a pick-up reservation.
  • Library staff will provide an online reservation form for you to request the items that you need, and to choose your pick-up time and date.  
  • Once you’ve submitted your form, Library staff will contact you to confirm your reservation and provide location information.
  • Show up during your time slot to pick up equipment or library materials.
  • Items to be picked up will be exchanged on a sanitized table.
  • All items circulating Fall Quarter 2020 will be due on December 17, 2020, unless other arrangements have been made with your instructor.

Where to Pickup

  • Beginning Tuesday, October 6, pickup is moving inside, to the Library entrance, third floor, Campus Center (CC).
  • This Campus Map link will help you find us.
  • Be sure to fill out this health screening form the day you need to be on campus.
  • Look for the “Enter Here” sign on the doors next to the Automotive Building to enter Campus Center.
  • Stop at the kiosk table to enter your BTC SID. 
  • Take the stairs by the elevator, or the elevator, to the third floor. Maintain 6 feet social distancing at all times.
  • The table for pickup is found at the Library Entrance.  We will ask your name and put your items on the sanitized table.
  • All items will be due December 17, 2020.
