The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Style is used primarily for publications in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, computer science and information technology.
The preferred citation format for BAS-ET assignments is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). IEEE citation style uses numbered in-text citations, with the numbers in square brackets (see examples below). The numbers refer to the full citation listed in the reference list at the end of the paper, which are placed in numerical order, not alphabetically by author.
