A. RECEIPT AND DISPOSITION
The Library welcomes gifts with the understanding that they will be evaluated according to the guidelines of the Collection Development Policy. Processing costs and limitations of space may also affect the decision to keep materials. Unusable gifts will be redistributed in an appropriate manner that may include being offered to other libraries, other library’s Friends groups or the BTC Library Book Exchange.
B. APPRAISAL
The Library cannot legally appraise gifts for tax purposes. Upon request, donors will be given a signed and dated gift statement from the BTC Foundation as a receipt
