How To Access Microsoft Office Without Downloading

If you prefer, there are also other ways to access MS Office without downloading:

  • You can use MS office via Remote Desktop.  There is a tab on this guide to help you navigate BTC Remote Desktop access.
  • You can check out a laptop from the BTC Library. All BTC Library laptops have MS Office installed.
  • Students have web access to Office 365;  login is required. The web version does NOT include MS ACCESS.

Download Microsoft Office

NOTE:  The license for MS Office now includes MS ACCESS for PCs only. Mac users will need to continue to use Remote Desktop for access to ACCESS.

Begin by logging into your BTC student email account.  Go to this link and type in your user name (last name and last 4 digits of your student ID number). Be sure to use the correct server address:  beltc.ctc.edu.  For example, mouse0004@beltc.ctc.edu.
