Faculty Support: TEN THINGS we want you to know

We Specialize in Scholarly, Credible Information

Our job is to teach your students how to search for, locate, read, and cite scholarly research and peer reviewed publications.  Four videos in our Research Workshop Research Guide center on these topics.  Take a look at "What is a Scholarly Article? What is Peer Review? (Video)" and "Finding Credible Information."  Feel free to assign these videos to your class to view, or invite us to do in-person instruction.

Need help teaching students about the possible pitfalls using online resources such as Facebook, Twitter, or other social media?  Check out our videos on "Media Bias" and "Filter Bubbles and Confirmation Bias."
