What does this mean?

Social Media Monitoring or Social Listening is the process of tracking conversations about your brand or relevant topics.

  • Track keywords relevant to your brand, product, service
  • Track other thought leaders or others having similar "conversations"

Social Media Analytics will measure your influence

  • How do you compare to your competitors?
  • How many people are you reaching?
  • Tracking success, "Is it working?"

Social Media Terms, Defined:

  • Impressions: Total number of times all your posts have been seen
  • Reach: Total number of unique accounts that have seen any of your posts
  • Engagement: Number of likes/comments/replies/saves
  • Conversion: Number of times a desired result was achieved
